Welcome to LiveLite® ("LiveLite", "we", "our", or "us"). LiveLite is a personal health and fitness application that helps you track workouts, plan your diet, monitor body parameters, and achieve your fitness goals with expert guidance.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights and choices you have over your data when you use the LiveLite mobile application ("App") and related services (collectively, the "Services").

2.2 Health Data from Device Health Platforms

With your explicit permission, LiveLite reads data from:

iOS — Apple HealthKit

• Step count

• Active calories burned

• Water intake

• Workouts

Android — Google Fit / Health Connect

• Step count

• Calories burned

• Water intake

• Exercise sessions

This data is read-only and used solely to auto-fill activity logs and display health insights in the App.

We do not sell or share HealthKit or Google Fit data with advertisers or marketing platforms.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Device type

• Operating system version

• Unique device identifiers

• App version

• Crash and diagnostic logs

• Screens viewed and timestamps

• Push notification token (for Firebase Cloud Messaging)

2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Precise GPS location

• Contacts or address book

• Financial or payment card data

• Government-issued ID numbers

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account

• Provide personalised fitness tracking and insights

• Sync Apple HealthKit / Google Fit data (with consent)

• Send meal, exercise, and appointment reminders

• Improve the App using anonymised analytics

• Respond to support requests

• Comply with legal obligations

• Prevent fraud and security incidents

We do not use your personal or health data for targeted advertising.

4. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

We share information only in limited cases:

• Cloudinary — Image hosting

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) — Push notifications

• MongoDB Atlas — Cloud database hosting

• Expo / EAS — Over-the-air app updates

Apple HealthKit

HealthKit data is never shared with third parties and is never used for advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active.

If you delete your account:

• Personal data is deleted within 30 days

• Anonymised analytics may be retained

• Legal compliance data may be retained as required by law

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• Short-lived JWT authentication tokens

• Restricted access to production data

• Health data processed locally unless explicitly logged

No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Permissions Used by the App

• Camera & Photo Library — Upload profile and meal photos

• Push Notifications — Reminders

• Apple HealthKit — Sync steps and workouts (iOS)

• Google Fit / Health Connect — Sync steps and workouts (Android)

You may revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may have the right to:

• Delete your account

• Request a portable copy of your data

• Opt out of non-essential notifications

Requests can be made via email and will be processed within 30 days.
