BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS
Before starting our therapy, we do body composition analysis. Why it is important? Actually the total body weight of a person includes, muscle mass, bone, water and fat. Two persons weighing the same kilogram may differ in their body composition. One person may have more muscle which is very difficult to reduce, and other person may have more fat which we should reduce. Some patients with medical condition may have more water retention in their body. These persons should treat in a separate way.
After doing a detailed Body Composition Analysis - fat %, fat mass, lean mass, water content, target fat mass, basic metabolic rate and body mass index, we do a proper medical checkup by our qualified doctors for disease and health assessment. We do blood & urine investigations also for selected candidates.
After analyzing the body we start our treatment, which is not included any medicines, vigorous exercise, crash diets or starvations.
WE WORK ON BASIS OF NEGATIVE ENERGY BALANCE. WE ACHIEVE THIS THROUGH VARIOUS WAYS.
DIET AND NUTRITIONThe ideal diet is the key for health and fitness. All suggestions are made keeping the regional and cultural preferences in mind. We take a brief history of individual diets, likes and dislikes, food habits, motivation, economic background, availability of time for food preparation, work pattern & timings.
We never entertain crash diets which people can’t follow for more than a couple of week. All these crash diets are not balanced with protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamin, minerals and antioxidants and may harm your body.
Our well qualified Nutrition specialists prescribe a balanced diet, according to your body, which can easily be followed for your rest of the life. We believe that, diet plan which we prescribe, not only helps to reduce weight but even helps to maintain the weight of the person and helps him feel comfortable with the diet plan. They are free to have variety of foods.
ACTIVE AND PASSIVE EXERCISES
We promote both active and passive exercises not only for the fitness of the body, but it is even necessary to feel psychologically fit and healthy.
Some people are physically active, but not doing exercises. On the other side, some people are physically inactive, but doing regular exercises. Physical activity means, their daily activities, their job, cooking etc. Exercise means that a structured program which is done regularly on a fixed time and duration. For an active healthy life we need both physical activity and aerobic exercise for 30-45 minutes daily. We promote devices like Pedometers to calculate the activity level and motivate people to live more active life.
Most of the obese people are unable to do exercises due to medical problems like knee pain, back pain, heart diseases or even due to obesity it self. Our therapists suggest specialized and individualized physical activity pattern to these clients.
